Our Process
Medical History
Initial consultations typically last 40 minutes including a consultation, examination, report of findings and treatment, as appropriate. As part of this visit, a follow-up session is included to allow your chiropractor to check your progress, provide treatment and confirm your recommended care plan.
During your first visit, the chiropractor will take the time to understand your symptoms and overall health in detail. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your concerns openly, sharing any relevant personal or medical information that may be important to your condition. This is also a great time to ask any questions or express any hesitations you may have about potential treatments.
If, after the assessment, we determine that our care may not be the best option for your condition, we will inform you and recommend a specialist who can better address your needs. In such cases, there will be no charge for the consultation.
To support a thorough assessment, we may use tools such as a reflex hammer, scoliosis meter, posture analyser, or blood pressure monitor.
Examination & Investigation
During your initial assessment, we will conduct a thorough and professional examination, evaluating your muscles, joints, and nervous system.
Some aspects of this assessment may not seem directly related to your specific concern, but a comprehensive approach—including checking factors like blood pressure, breathing, posture, and gait—helps us determine whether chiropractic care is the right option for you.
Treatment
Once we understand your symptoms and overall health, we’ll explain our findings in a clear and simple way, using models and pictures to help. This will give you a better idea of what’s causing your discomfort and any underlying issues.
Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that works for you, explaining the techniques and frequency of visits we recommend. Before each session, we’ll check in on your progress and do a quick assessment before treating you.
We have a wide range of techniques including spinal adjustments, trigger point therapy and spinal decompression.
